Hello there!
I'm Laura, a freelancer for more than 10 years, exploring ways to expand and develop the classic freelancer–client model into something with a bit more freedom and control.
The classic model is great for many things, and in my 10+ years of freelancing I’ve loved (and still love!) all the perks of freelance life — the freedom to work from anywhere, the flexibility to set my own hours, and the thrill of landing big clients and growing with them over time.
But it can also be a tricky business model. Sometimes, you find yourself waiting around for clients to send work. And there’s a pretty clear ceiling on how much you can earn — either you take on more clients (which eats more of your time) or you raise your rates (which can be tough depending on your industry).
That’s why I’m on a mission: expanding my freelance business into a one-person business — adding new, independent income streams alongside my client work. It's about creating more space, freedom, and long-term stability.
